Harper Lyn Bauer

Harper was born last Wednesday, April 14th at 9:42am, weighing 6lbs, 10 ounces and measuring 19 inches long. We are so blessed to have a happy, healthy, beautiful baby girl and look forward to watching her grow! She looks identical to Braxton when he was a baby and he couldn't be more in love with her.

3D Movie time...

Yesterday we took Braxton to see How To Tame Your Dragon at the new 7th Street Movie Tavern and we had the best time! From the 3 escalators to get up to the ticket counter to the gelato we had at Paciugo after, it was an amazing Wednesday evening. The movie was so cute and now we are trying to figure out how and where to buy a Dragon for our house...

Mom - stop taking my picture!!! I'm watching THE movie:)

Easter Sunday 2010

On Easter Sunday we went to brunch with my family at Shady Oaks and then headed to Mimi and Baba Rick's for one LAST Easter Egg Hunt! It was a lovely time and we really enjoyed getting to celebrate with family and are looking forward to next year with Baby Harper... who should just be walking!

Easter Extravaganza!

We started off our Easter weekend on Saturday at Ridglea Country Club for their Annual Easter Egg Hunt and festivities and were completely exhausted by the end of the day! They had face painters, bounce houses, a petting zoo, pony rides, cookie decorating, pictures with the Easter bunny, and a choo-choo train, among other things! We were able to participate in almost every activity and Braxton had the best time ever! His two friends, Chloe and Emma were also there to partake in the fun and here are some of the pictures...

"We're ready"... let's get this started...
Hurry up and wait!
Look at all of those eggs!

Please open this egg, Mommy!

Easter Party at School...

Braxton's school, Reading Friends had their Easter parties yesterday and Grandma Sybie came along for the festivities! Ms. Spoon and Ms. Leigh read a cute Easter story to his class that involved pecans and after that they ventured out onto the playground with their hand-made Easter baskets to pick colored Easter pecans. It was too cute! Braxton has such sweet friends in his class and we really enjoyed visiting with everyone, but most of all getting to watch his excitement on the playground! It was a wonderful afternoon and we took Grandma to the club for lunch, which of course was fantastic!
