Smiles...

Sweet girl started smiling a few weeks ago and it absolutely makes my heart jump... here are some bad quality pics I captured on my iphone. They're pretty adorable though. Her brother really makes her smile and giggle... which is our next favorite thing she does... too sweet!

Fun in the Sun!

Last week we met a couple of Braxton's school friends, John David and Jack, up at the Country Club pool. The boys had a blast running up and down the hill, swimming, jumping in and out of the pool and having a picnic on the lawn. It was a beautiful day, not too hot and there was a breeze! Braxton misses seeing them at his school and isn't doing the summer program, so it was fun to get together and do something outside of school this summer... I think we'll be doing it again! And the mommies had fun too:-)

Happy Birthday, Mom & Dad!

We celebrated both my Mom's (May 26) and Dad's (June 6) birthdays over the past couple weeks. It was lots of fun and lots of cake!

Braxton is really ready for it to be his birthday... it's coming up big boy... June 26th! And I am so proud of him for so many reasons, the most recent being that he has completely mastered potty training before turning 3 - even at night time! This is a huge feat considering how much this child loves his chocolate milk.

A day in the life... at the farm!

One set of Braxton's grandparents live on a farm in Mansfield and it is absolutely his favorite place to go visit. There are certain things he can do at the farm that he just can't do at home; like visit the animals, use the bathroom outside ("watering the flowers"), and just basically do whatever he wants... no rules! Those grandparents...

Here are pictures from one of his favorite things to do at the farm - drive his John Deere all over the property with his Grandfather following in another all terrain vehicle! I was informed that he must follow behind Braxton or we would be in for it!
