Halloween, Part II

Soccer game and The Farm.
Saturday we woke up and went to Braxton's last soccer game of the Season:( I would love to say they won and he scored "a lot" of goals, but this was not the case this day. Oh well... he had already proved he was the "star" player this season and he grew a love for the sport we didn't know he had in him.
Cheering section...

The Farm.
Later that day we headed out to the farm for an early Halloween dinner and fun with our cousins in our Halloween costumes, this time as Iron Man and a Bunny Rabbit. We had a great time with everyone and to top it all off, Uncle Carlos and Marta arrived from Panama and came to enjoy it all with us!
Blake messing with Harper... the usual!
Top of the spider! The fearless three...
The Mimi's...
Our favorite friends from Panama...
The party was down by the old vineyards and Gramp's grave. It was a really beautiful setting and perfect weather for the party.

Halloween, Part I

The School Party.
Reading Friends held their Halloween Party on Friday before the Halloween weekend. The kids sang a few songs that Mom and Dad were a little late for, but none the less, were there for the festivities. Cute kids, precious costumes and overjoyed parents all make for a sweet 3 year old shin-dig.
At this party, Braxton dressed up as one of the Three Amigos, with his two buddies John David Hart and Jackson Fulton. All summer long these boys played and played and were, hence, deemed the Three Amigos... or Musketeers... we went with Amigos for Halloween:)

Emma and Braxton with their Mommies
Jenny and Hank Hayden (Hank is a Hollywood movie star and his younger brother, Hunt, was Popcorn!)
Mark and Scott
John Rowland as the cutest Indian
Precious Violet and Gretchen Hiley
Emma and Mimi "Lyn" matching!
Kimberly and Kelly... dos Amigos Moms
Then we headed over to another party at Colonial and met up with Yo Gabba Gabba! And then had lunch... what an awesome day.

Slumber fun...

We were so excited to have Emma be our first-ever friend to sleep over in Braxton's new bunk bed! And boy did these kids have fun... It was a night of laughter, fun & surprises... and not all that surprising, not a whole lot of sleeping... well, I guess a little. Needless to say, they were both so excited to not have time "limits" on their playing, like our usual play dates, and over-enjoyed each other. What fun it is to be a kid!
Emma did not want to go to sleep and is a late-nighter and Braxton is the opposite and wanted to wake Emma up at the crack of dawn. It was so cute to see how they are so different, yet the same. Thanks Em for a fun time!

Pretty pictures...

About a month ago we had our sweet photographer friend, Leslie, take some pictures of the kids at the Botanical Gardens. Of course, it was warmer than we had hoped it would be and the kids happened to somehow miss their naps that day. It never ceases to amaze me, but our photography sessions never seem to go as planned! But somehow the pictures always turn out great. Here are a couple of the beautiful shots she captured that day:

Harper Lyn - 5 1/2 months and sitting by herself already
John Braxton - 3 years and a superstar soccer player

Hello!

I am so very behind on my blogging - but with lots of reasons. First our desktop crashed and took a while to get fixed and then Scott bought me a new camera, so I need to figure out how to load all of the gorgeous pictures it takes!
Here are a few recent images of the kids while I learn how to upload the the tons of others I have from everything we've been up to lately...
