We are so bummed about the Mavs losing the last playoff game the other night to the Spurs and hope that they do better next season! Braxton enjoyed watching the game while playing some hoops inside himself...

First bath...

Harper had her first real bath right after her umbilical cord fell off, a week or so after she was born. Braxton and Scott were on board to help me, while Mimi filmed the momentous experience! She actually loved the whole bathing experience, which is good, because baths in this household are plentiful!

Harper's hospital pics...

Well, I'm a little behind on my blogging because I have a newborn and I'm a little reluctant to post these pictures anyways, but for documentation sake - here they are. We were completely surrounded by love the day of Harper's delivery, Wednesday, April 14th with sweet friends and family and Braxton loved having everyone there to celebrate his sister's arrival. For scrapbooking purposes, 2 funny things: One, Braxton calls the hospital the "hos-tipple" which we go along with :)! and second, he says Baby Harper "popped out through Mommy's bellybutton" -- two cute things I want to remember! The nurse started the pitocin around 6:00 am and sweet baby Harper arrived at 9:42 am - a very fast delivery. I have the best doctor, who is also a family friend, Dr. Read and he was a god-send the whole pregnancy. Thank you!

Harper Lyn Bauer

Harper was born last Wednesday, April 14th at 9:42am, weighing 6lbs, 10 ounces and measuring 19 inches long. We are so blessed to have a happy, healthy, beautiful baby girl and look forward to watching her grow! She looks identical to Braxton when he was a baby and he couldn't be more in love with her.

Here are some pictures of sweet Harper's room! We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. It is so peaceful and gorgeous and we cannot wait to have her here to enjoy it!!!

3D Movie time...

Yesterday we took Braxton to see How To Tame Your Dragon at the new 7th Street Movie Tavern and we had the best time! From the 3 escalators to get up to the ticket counter to the gelato we had at Paciugo after, it was an amazing Wednesday evening. The movie was so cute and now we are trying to figure out how and where to buy a Dragon for our house...
