Prelude to Xmas card pics...

And these are just a few... not even our favorites! Isn't this child beautiful? I guess the photographer had a little something to do with it too...!!!

Curious George Live...

Last week we took Braxton to Nokia to see Curious George Live and he absolutely loved the show, especially the fact that we weren't up too close to the stage. Last time we took him to Nokia to see Thomas the Train he was a little concerned about everything being so right in your face. Our seats were perfect this time and we all had fun. Surprisingly it wasn't too long and too boring or too out there... well maybe...

Crazy pose...

This is what I call transfixed... or mesmerized!

You can tell it is time to leave by this picture!

Lunch with Marj

We have been quite busy lately running here and there and last week we were blessed to take Grandma Marj to lunch and to her doctor's appointment mid-week. I really enjoy these dates with Marjie because the woman is full of wisdom that only comes with age and I love to pick her brain to see what she has to say. Scott, Stacy and Blake joined us and we had a lovely time at the Country Club. Here are some cute pics from lunch... doesn't Scott look great with a little girl?

Angi's Baby Shower!

Last weekend we hosted a wonderful baby shower for Angi & Luke and celebrated the soon to be... Mr. Owen Brentlinger. We had a such a great night and everything went off without a hitch! Only 8 more weeks until sweet baby Owen arrives... Yay!

Happy Birthday, Derek!

We went out for Derek's birthday a couple weekends ago and went to Mi Cocina, his favorite restaurant, to celebrate. My favorite is the picture below with the goofy hat that the waiters lovingly placed on Derek's head while they sang Happy Birthday! Too funny.

Nursery fun with Emma...

A few weeks ago Braxton and I ran out with Emma and her Mom to look at plants and other fun outdoorsy-type stuff. Francesca was on a mission to fill up her front yard and I was able to play with the kiddos while she worked with the lady on her plan for her yard. It was so much fun:) We went on multiple animal hunts, looking for lions, lizards, elephants and what not. We had such a great time trapsing around the lot and later went inside and actually found all the animals we had been hunting for. It was a wonderful day and Braxton and Emma had a blast.

Trick or Treat...

This Halloween was so much fun because Braxton actually took part in the holiday... sort of... at least more so than last year and the previous year!  He didn't end up wearing his "actual" Halloween costume, Spider Man.  He did wear his skeleton "pre-costume" outfit all night though... which worked out just as well and was maybe just as cute.  We had lots of family and good friends over and had a wonderful evening.  We took the kids trick or treating and Braxton went up to the neighbors doors and said, "Happy Halloween or Trick or Treat" and took a candy or two.  It was so cute to see his little mind working... I do think one of his favorite parts of the evening was later handing out candy at our house to the other kids in costume.  He seemed to dig that!  Tomorrow I'll post a picture of him in his "Spidey" costume and a picture from the two previous Halloweens!
