Soccer - 2010

Well this has officially been our first experience with Soccer and we had no idea what to expect, being was it the right age, right time of year with school beginning, etc. We decided to embrace the sport with our all, and mommy went to the YMCA and signed Braxton up for his school's team we had been encouraged to join, Scott went to the sports store and bought a goal and little soccer balls and then we practiced around in our own backyard and now we are on to practices. Neither one of us knew what to expect, but of course, Braxton is a superhero on the field! Or so his parents think...

Sweet angel...

...or angel-pie, that is what we (or Mommy) likes to call her around this household. She is one week shy of her 5th month birthday and sweet girl never ceases to amaze us. She loves her solids (food), holds her bottle on her own, sits up (for small amounts of time), talks like she knows what she's talking about and just wants to be involved in everything at this house. It is so precious! We love her more and more every day and can't believe how much joy she brings to our family. Her smile absolutely blows everyone away it keeps getting bigger! She is also on a strict schedule of napping, eating, playing, etc and this makes her a joyous baby because she always knows what is next. Braxton was the complete opposite and both him and mommy thrived on impulsivity and it wreaked havok on our household. Oh well, 2 babies, all perfect, what more could I ask for?

School - 2010

We have had a busy few weeks at our house trying to finish up our summer and start into our fall schedule. Boy, we have been trying to fit it all in! Where does the time go? This week we had Museum School orientation, started at Reading Friends and began soccer practice! Whew. Mommy needs a nap.
Here is my big boy on Wednesday, first day of class, rainy weather, but geared up and ready to go! I'm so proud of him. He is such a champ! This year he goes to school on Monday-Wednesday-Friday, from 9:00-12:00 and has 3 teachers, Ms. Shari, Ms. Leigh and Ms. Megan - and they of course all love him... who wouldn't? :)
And here is our attempt at a family pic... a little blurry... oh well!

Happy 1st Birthday, Juliana!

It seems like just yesterday that Baby Jules was born and now she is having her 1st birthday party. Where does the time go? The Papini's hosted an amazing tropical Hawaiian themed luau party, complete with grass skirts and leis, and the kids and adults all had a grand time. It was a fun-filled event and now the bar is raised even higher! Thanks a lot Francesca.

Here are Braxton and Emma enjoying the bounce house...
