Pretty lights at the farm on Saturday night...

Lazy Saturday...

We had the best Saturday this weekend... we did nothing! Honestly it feels like we have something planned every minute of every day of the week, so it is nice to do nothing sometimes. We just layed around the house, played with toys and watched our new favorite show on television or tivo, Mickey's Clubhouse.

Braxton and Daddy put together a new car track that his sweet grandfather bought him and he loves...

And here he is being lazy in Mommy & Daddy's bed with his "friends"... watching their show... One of the things I love about this picture is how it captures him rubbing his security blanket, his "Skip-it" on his toe... one of his most soothing actions... weird... but precious!

How about this hug?

The Circus comes to Fort Worth...

My parents took Braxton to experience his first "Circus" this past Saturday at Will Rogers Coliseum.  Scott and I were a little jealous not to take him ourselves, but understood this was something his Grandparents wanted to do ~ so we left it alone!  Here are some pictures from the day and I'll narrate what was shared with me by his sweet grandparents!
This is how he sat the whole time, not smiling, but watching very intently in Grandpa's lap with his fingers in his mouth! Side note... this is probably why he has been sick this whole week!

He loved riding on the "paciderm" as my dad said... and Braxton went on and on about the Elephants noses... pinching his own nose while he told us about theirs!

He loved the giant bear riding a motorcycle! It also rode a bicycle too...

And he of course loved the ponies... you know, he has his own... so he had to show off how to ride like a big boy!
I don't know if you can see but he is in the back riding a pony with one hand on the saddle.

He loved the acrobats!

Hated, hated, hated the clowns!

Wanted to ride the camels...
Thought the tigers/lions were way cool...

Loved his "Baba" Rick taking him all around...

And pretty much loved the whole "Circus" experience... maybe not the whole thing... but almost all of it!  By the end, the grandparents said he was ready to go!
Thanks again guys:)

Do you see the love?...

My child absolutely adores his new baby cousin, Blake. He is so enamored with her that every time we see her he has to touch, hold, love and kiss her.  It is so much fun for us to watch and see how gentle a 2 year old CAN be... when they want to be!

Matching PJ's...

PJ's & Rain boots...

With all of the rain lately, Braxton has practically been living in his rain boots day in and day out. Here are some pictures from the park the other night when we couldn't stand to be inside any longer!

Here is a picture of "The Witches" in our front yard.  Braxton isn't quite sure if he likes or dislikes these crazy looking creatures.  We love them and this fun Halloween month!

Haynes and Adelaide...

Braxton LOVES to get together and play with his twin cousins and was able to do so a couple weeks ago.  They are so precious together and we love to see the dynamics of each individual personality shine through. We all met up at Oakridge for an alumni dinner and the kids played in the courtyard for a good while and later left with the grandparents to continue on with the party.  Later we were able to spend some "adult" time out with their parents!
Aren't they the cutest?

Here are a few others from another weekend spending time together at the farm...

Very bad boy...

Emma for a night...

Braxton had the best night last week.  Emma came out to dinner with us at Joe T's.  All by herself!  Her parents were busy celebrating their 5th anniversary and we were able to help out by watching her.  Braxton and Emma couldn't have enjoyed the night more!  They threw dozens upon dozens of coins in multiple fountains, ran around like crazy kids, and gobbled up frozen yogurt at Frogberry.  Scott and I thought 2 children might, for a second, be a little easier than one and, for a minute, wished we would have had twins... then we came back to reality;-) It was a lot of fun though and we hope to do it again soon!
