Saturday was our last game of Fall-ball. We had such a wonderful season with The Cubs - amazing coach, fabulous team and a stellar time with our friends. This was our 2nd season of coach pitch and the kids are doing a great job at hitting & fielding the ball and gaining a basic understanding of the game. (I have to say it helped a little that the Rangers did so well this season and a lot of the children were going to games or watching them on TV.) The nice thing about the fall baseball season is they will pull the tee out if the kids miss the first 3 coach pitches - which does not happen in the more "serious" spring season. The kids loved going to practice - 2x a week and running the bases 50x - great to wear them out before bed... and then a game every weekend - and sometimes one during the week! Great job kiddos:)
