Gingerbread house fun...

About a month ago, Braxton and I went with some friends to Dallas to a Gingerbread house decorating extravaganza that is (for sure) going to be an annual event. The night was so amazing and well thought out - clearly these people know what they are doing. The gingerbread houses were presented bare, like a blank canvas. The children are given this giant empty plastic bucket and then provided an insane selection of candies to choose from... all night long. Then, colored frosting is placed at everyones station, in every color imaginable, and the children are given free reign to create their masterpiece. A gentleman, master gingerbread artisan if you may, then travels around the room to help create icicles, decorate trees, create fences, etc. You get the point. Unbelievable fun. And fantastic tasting candy:)
